Lindsey, you have created a faithful follower here. First day at the gym tomorrow morning! I am wondering: do your kids eat the same meals? what about Hubs? Curious if you are limited by what they will eat or if you just make separate meals for them….

So glad Monique! I get this question a lot so will likely address in the next post. My husband and kids do, in most cases, eat the clean meals that I cook. HOWEVER, I do let my “kids be kids” and allow them to eat things like pizza, mac and cheese, fish sticks, etc. My husband also does like a a good meal sometimes so I will cook things for him and freeze the leftovers so he can eat at another time. He has lots of favorites that are not clean. 🙂
I hope that helps. Best of luck to you. Please keep me posted on your progress and let me know if I can help in any way.

Hi Lindsey,
How exactly do you add your ingredients to your turkey burgers? Like how much of the lipton mix and the worcestershire sauce? I am just starting to try to branch out with my clean eating (I’ve been the girl that eats the exact same things, day in and day out) and I am pretty clueless when it comes to cooking anything other than baked chicken, baked sweet potatoes, brown rice, and steamed veggies haha

Hi Emily – I use the whole pack of Lipton soup mix and honestly, I don’t measure the worstechire sauce and egg whites. It is probably about 2 tablespoons worsterchire and a good bit of egg whites (probably 4 or 5). The meat mix will be pretty runny but that is good because the burgers will be moist. Also, don’t put them on the grill. They will fall apart. I use a grill pan on the stove.
There are LOTS of options for clean meals! Try this cookbook – http://www.eatingmanagement.net/products
Some of my favorites are sloppy joes, turkey tacos, mashed potatoes, crab cakes, meatloaf, mustard chicken, sweet potato fries – I could go on!
Good luck to you!
